Armenia Started Decoding Flight Recorders of Crashed Airline

Armenia started decoding the process of flight recorders of crashed
airplane of Belavia company in the Yerevan airport, Artem Movsiyan,
the chief of Central Citizen Aviation Department of Armenia, stated
`We have started decoding the process of four recorders. Armenia
cannot carry out the process independently, as the company is badly
informed about this mar of the airplanes,' News-Armenia reported.
According to Movsiyan, there are plans to involve the officials from
Belarus and Canada to the process.
`The speed of decoding of flight recorders will depend on the degree
of damage of recorders,' Movsiyan added. The crashed airplane was
produced by German company in Canada in 1999. The company is leased
by Belarus.
The pilots of the aircraft have flied for a year. The pilots had no
health problems and also never used alcohol. Eighteen passengers and
three members of the crew were injured, but no loss of life has been
reported.
