Staff: "Ter-Petrosian will celebrate his smashing victory"
February 19, 2008
Yerevan /Mediamax/. Representative of the pre-election staff of Levon
Ter-Petrosian Grigor Harutiunian described today as "exaggerated"
the official data on the turnout of the electors.
Mediamax reports that, speaking today at a news conference in Yerevan,
Grigor Harutiunian stated that "thus, the authorities create loophole
for falsification of the results of the elections".
Grigor Harutiunian noted that in all the polling stations only
the representatives of Levon Ter-Petrosian struggled against
falsifications, and this confirms the words of the presidential
candidate Artashes Geghamian, that during the elections "there will
be a struggle of one candidate against eight".
Another representative of the pre-election staff Nikol Pashinian
stated that according to the data of the exit-poll, held by "Alfa-Ga"
organization in 132 polling stations, Levon Ter-Petrosian gained 54.2%
of the electors' votes.
Nikol Pashinian stated that "Levon Ter-Petrosian will celebrate a
smashing victory tomorrow at 15:00 during the rally near Matenadaran".
