RA President Robert Kocharyan declared in Yerevan today that the voters
will decide the number of rounds of the presidential elections and
will make no prediction. However, President Kocharyan said he would
like the elections to be concluded in one round.
"I think no one doubts who I have cast my vote for. I have voted for
Armenia's stability and prosperity," the President said.
Robert Kocharyan said "every election is a trial, which one has to
go through and become stronger." The President expressed hope that
today's elections will "register serious progress from the perspective
of consolidation of democracy.
Asked what he will do after his term in office expires, Robert
Kocharyan joked: "That is the greatest secret of the Republic of
Armenia."
