No serious changes to take place in government in case of Serge Sargsian's election victory
YEREVAN, February 19. /ARKA/. RPA (Republican Party of Armenia)
candidate, RA Prime Minister Serge Sargsian stated today he will not
make any serious changes in the RA Government staff if he wins the
presidential election.
He was quoted as saying in his district polling station: "The
Government was formed nine months ago and we have achieved good
results since then."
He assured the journalists that all the constructive forces will be
involved in the government formation.
Today on February 19, 2008, Armenia is voting for a new president. All
the 1,923 polling stations in the country are open from 8:00 to 20:00.
Nine candidates have been nominated by the RA Central Electoral
Commission. According to the RA Police, 2mln 328,320 people are
eligible to vote.
About 14,000 observers from 39 local and 6 international organizations
will monitor the election.-0--
