PRESIDENT OF FRANCE CONGRATULATES SERZH SARGSIAN ON HIS VICTORY IN PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 20, ARMENPRESS: President of France Nicola Sarkozy
has sent a congratulatory message to the Armenian Prime Minister
Serzh Sargsian on the occasion of his victory in the presidential
elections. The message particularly says, "Dear Mr. prime minister,
I warmly congratulate You on the victory in the presidential
elections. Your success in the immediately first round witnesses
about the support You have in Your country. I greet the choice of the
Armenian people which reconfirmed the wish of the policy of political
reforms and Euro integration Your government has adopted. Be sure
that You may always rely on France in the issue of supporting the
consolidation of stability and peace in the South Caucasus. France,
which is one of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing countries, will
continue exerting efforts towards finding regulation of the Nagorno
Karabakh issue.
Using the opportunity I would also like to express the importance
I personally give to the development and expansion of bilateral
cooperation in different spheres. On behalf of the French people and
myself personally I wish You, Armenia and Armenian people success."
