On February 23 the first president of Armenia Levon Ter-Petrosyan
brought up the issue that the present government has tapped a wedge
between the Armenians of Armenia and Karabakh. However, Levon
Ter-Petrosyan commended the stance of the NKR president Bako Sahakyan.
According to Levon Ter-Petrosyan, Bako Sahakyan is neutral and
therefore commendable, because the NKR president did not allow any
interference with the internal affairs of Armenia, unlike 2003 and 2004
when the president of NKR was Arkady Ghukasyan and the Armenian
government brought criminal authorities and armed force to repress
people.
Levon Ter-Petrosyan commended Bako Sahakyan's neutral stance in this
comparison and called the hundreds of thousands participants of the
rally who listened to Levon Ter-Petrosyan's appeal and applauded to the
NKR president Bako Sahakyan.
