DEMONSTRATION IN VANADZOR TO SUPPORT SERGE SARGSYAN

The participants of the demonstration at Hayk Square of Vanadzor
expressed their support for the newly elected President of the Republic
of Armenia Serge Sargsyan. Calls of unity and the willingness to
support Serge Sargsyan prevailed in the speeches of representatives of
schools, factories, higher educational establishments, young people,
heads of community and veterans.
Armed with flags and posters thousands of Vanadzor citizens expressed
their willingness to be united during a demonstration accompanied by
calls: "Onward Armenia." The speakers at the meeting mostly mentioned
that defeat must be accepted, instead of making attempts to seize
power by disparting the society. They once again reminded about the
heavy conditions of the population during Levon Ter-Petrosyan's rule.
