GAGIK JHANGIRIAN AND SMBAT AYVAZIAN DETAINED

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 25, NOYAN TAPAN. Gagik Jhangirian, the former RA
Prosecutor General, who was brought to the RA police on February 23,
is under arrest. According to the information provided by the Public
Relations and Information Department of the RA Police, Smbat Ayvazian,
the former RA Minister of State Incomes, who was brought to the police
on February 24, is also put under arrest. The latter is charged with
Part 1 (using violence towards a representative of the authorities)
Article 316 of the RA Crminal Code.
