    The struggle will continue

The vote in the 2008 presidential election and the preliminary
tabulation of the results were accompanied byall-embracing and
obscene illegalities. The authorities, in fact, have used the whole
arsenal of falsifications andillegalities. Citizens of the Republic
of Armenia were subjected to disgraceful physical and psychological
violence.Numerous cases of abduct, beating and intimidation of MPs,
journalists, proxies, observers were recorded, which were notpaid
proper attention by law-enforcement agencies. During the vote obvious
ballot staffing took place, all conscriptsand residents of numerous
rural locations were forced to vote openly, controllable by
representatives of theauthorities. Besides, an obviously exaggerated
number of participants in the vote [translated as written], was
    presentedto the public.

The major falsifications, however, were carried out during the vote
count - this process took place under conditions of power outages at
polling stations, intimidation of proxies, recognizing ballots marked
in favour of LevonTer-Petrosyan to be invalid, or recording those in
favour of the candidate from the authorities [Prime Minister
SerzhSargsyan]. Levon Ter-Petrosyan's proxies have recorded thousands
of protocols about all stated above, there arethousands of evidences.

Taking into consideration all-embracing falsifications and cases of
violence, which have fully deteriorated theexpression of the people's
will, the election headquarters of Levon Ter-Petrosyan, the first
president of theRepublic of Armenia, does not recognize the results
of the 2008 presidential elections, announced by the CentralElectoral
Commission and demands to hold a new election.

We announce that we will continue pan-national struggle - in the name
of establishing legitimate authorities inArmenia and restoring
    people's dignity.

[Signed by] Levon Ter-Petrosyan's election headquarters
