Armenia to "be in no hurry" to recognize Kosovo
YEREVAN Feb 25
Armenian Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanian has said Armenia "will be
in no hurry" to recognize Kosovo's independence and that, in
comparing Nagorno-Karabakh's case for independence with Kosovo's,
Nagorno-Karabakh's "advantages become obvious."
"This is our position: we will be in no hurry with a decision to
recognize Kosovo. We are currently debating this issue," Oskanian
told a news conference on Monday.
His point on Nagorno-Karabakh's "advantages" over Kosovo the minister
made in opening an international conference in Yerevan entitled
"Tolerance and Xenophobia in the South Caucasus Region." as
