TAXES AND DUTIES OF 22.5 BILLION DRAMS COLLECTED IN JANUARY

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 26, NOYAN TAPAN. Taxes and duties of 22 bln 50 mln
drams (about 73.7 mln USD) were collected in Armenia in January 2008 by
bodies of the RA State Tax Service (STS). NT was informed by the STS
press center that the programmed index was overfulfilled by 140 mln
drams. The respective index of January 2006 made 16 bln 636 mln drams.
Social insurance payments made over 6 bln drams in January 2008 -
against 5 bln 350 mkn drams in January of last year. The programmed
index was overfulfilled by about 215 mln drams.
