OSCE CHAIRMAN-IN-OFFICE EXPRESSES HOPE THAT ARMENIAN AUTHORITIES TO DISPLAY SENSIBLENESS IN COMING DAYS AS WELL

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 26, NOYAN TAPAN. The Armenian President Robert
Kocharian On February 26 Received The OSCE Chairman-In-Office, Finnish
Foreign Minister Ilkka Kanerva And The Delegation Accomapnying Him. NT
Was Informed By The RA President'S Press Service That During The
Meeting The Sides addressed the February 19 presidential elections
and the post-election developments.
Taking the reports of the international observers as the basis,
the OSCE chairman-in-office said that the progress made in these
election was obvious. Saying that the preliminary report contains
both positive and critical points, he expressed confidence that
the authorities will eliminate the existing shortcomings. The OSCE
chairman-in-office stated with confidence that the Armenian authorities
will display sensibleness in the coming days too and will use the
methods acceptable in civilized countries.
