CB OF ARMENIA PLACES GOVERNMENT BONDS FOR 2BLN DRAMS ON FEB 28

YEREVAN, February 28. /ARKA/. The Central Bank of Armenia (CBA)
placed government bonds for total of 2bln Drams on February 28. The
bonds issued were of AMCB13295080 series and with a 13-week redemption
period, the CBA Press Service reported.
According to the press release, the total volume of the bids was
4,173.7mln Drams. Eleven dealers participated in the auction. The
average annual weighted yield of the bonds was 7.2335% with maximum
yield being 7.30%.
The previous placement was on February 22 2008 with average weighted
yield being 7.21%. ($1=307.02Drams).
