ARMENIAN AND GEORGIAN DEFENSE MINISTERS DISCUSSED ISSUES REFERRING TO MILITARY COOPERATION

YEREVAN, 29.02.08. DE FACTO. The issues referring to the establishment
of agreement-legal base for the development of Armenian-Georgian
military and military-technical cooperation were discussed on
February 28 in Tbilisi at a meeting of Armenian and Georgian FMs
Mikael Harutyunian and David Kezerashvili.
In the course of the meeting the parties considered the issues of
regional security, talked about exchange of experience in the defense
sphere's amendment.
Armenia's delegation, which had arrived in Georgia headed by RA Defense
Minister Mikael Harutyunian, also held a meeting with Georgian FM
David Bakradze. In the course of the meeting the parties mentioned
the importance of maintaining inner stability both in Armenia and
Georgia in strengthening stability in the region as a whole.
