RA BOXING NATIONAL TEAM HOLDS JOINT TEACHING AND TRAINING GATHERING WITH IRANIAN TEAM IN TEHRAN

YEREVAN, JANUARY 10, NOYAN TAPAN. The Armenian boxing national team
holds a joint teaching and training gathering with the Iranian team
from January 5 in Tehran. 11 sportsmen and 3 coaches take part
in it. The national team will return to Armenia after the 16-day
trainings.
The RA championship will start on January 26 at Yerevan's Dinamo
training ground, by the results of which the national team's final
staff will be formed. It will hold a gathering on February 8-23 in
the town of Abovian and between February 24 to March 4 the Armenian
national team will take part in the international rating tournament
to be held in the city of Pescara, Italy.
It should be mentioned that for the present, three Armenian boxers,
Hovhannes Danielian (48 kg), Edvard Hambartsumian (64 kg), and Hrachya
Javakhian have received a right to take part in Beijing-2008.
