YEREVAN, JANUARY 10, NOYAN TAPAN. Manuk Gasparian, the Chairman of
the Democratic Way party, died in the morning of January 10 at the
age of 59, from heart attack.
M. Gasparian was born on September 16, 1949 in the village of Kasakh,
Aparan. In 1976 he graduated from Moscow Engineering and Construction
Institute, in 1989 Belgorod (RF) Institute of Consumer Cooperation. He
was an economist by speciality. M. Gasparian was a deputy of the RA
National Assembly of two convocations, in 1999-2003 and in 2003-2007.
