/PanARMENIAN.Net/ The OSCE chair, Finland is against any further
talks on Kosovo's status. "There will be no new talks," Finnish
Foreign Minister Ilkka Kanerva said after a meeting with his German
counterpart Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
For his part, Mr Steinmeier commented, "It's important that the
EU hasn't lost Serbian democratic forces' support for implementing
Ahtisaari's plan. EU initial association agreement with Serbia would
contribute to this process," Deutsche Welle reports.
Kosovo leaders intend to proclaim independence in the near future. With
Russia's support, Serbia strongly opposes such a scenario and insists
on continuation of talks.
