Yerevan /Mediamax/. During the upcoming presidential elections the
presence of external interests is inevitable, Leader of the People's
Party (PP), candidate for the position of the President Tigran
Karapetian stated in Yerevan today.

phenomenon", since "after Georgia's entry to NATO, Armenia will gain
greater geopolitical importance".
He also expressed concern in connection with the fact that "the present
authority continues constantly regenerating". "If that happens this
time as well, the upcoming elections will be nothing but a garbling",
