Mediators put proposals before Armenia, Azerbaijan
BAKU Jan 18
The Minsk Group, an Organization for Security and Cooperation in
Europe (OSCE) body mediating in the Armenian-Azeri conflict over
Nagorno-Karabakh, has discussed its latest proposals with Armenia and
Azerbaijan in the last few days, the Group's U.S. co-chairman said on
Friday.
The co-chairman, Matthew Bryza, who was speaking to reporters in
Baku, also insisted that both the Armenian and the Azeri community of
Nagorno-Karabakh be involved in conflict settlement talks.
French co-chairman Bernard Fassier said there was no deadline for the
proposals to be accepted or rejected.
