The Russian capital feels comfortable in Armenia, said Prime Minister
Serge Sargsyan, a presidential candidate, during the Armenian and
Russian business forum on January 21. Serge Sargsyan said the business
forum will promote Armenian and Russian relations and development
of ways of future cooperation. According to him, between 1991 and
2007 the Russian investments have totaled 1 billion dollars, and 852
companies were set up with Russian investments.
According to the prime minister, IT, production of cars and tourism
have a potential for the promotion of cooperation.
The Russian co-chair of the Armenian and Russian governmental
commission Igor Levitin and the president of the Union of Armenians
of Russia Ara Abrahamyan also participated in the business forum.
