GAS LEAK KILLS TWO REPAIR WORKERS

YEREVAN, JANUARY 21, ARMENPRESS: Two men were found killed by a gas
leak on January 19 in a Yerevan apartment. One was identified as
Soghomon Avetisian, a resident of the second largest town of Gyumri,
47 and the other was Smbat Simonian from Armavir province, 18.
Their dead bodies were discovered in the empty apartment which they
were hired by its owner to repair.
Next day rescue service said several residents of a village
in Lori province were rushed to hospital with signs of gas
poisoning. Fortunately, doctors said their lives were out of danger.
Instances of gas poisoning were reported also from Vanadzor and
Artik towns.
Last week a family of three in Yerevan were killed by gas leak.
