FIRST INTERIM REPORT OF OSCE ODIHR OBSERVATION MISSION IN ARMENIA TO BE PUBLICIZED ON JANUARY 30

Yerevan /Mediamax/. Chairman of the Central Electoral Commission (CEC)
of Armenia Garegin Azarian held a meeting with the Head of the OSCE
ODIHR long-term observation mission Geert-Hinrich Ahrens today.
As Mediamax was told in the CEC press service, during the meeting,
Ambassador Geert-Hinrich Ahrens presented the work, carried out by
the mission and informed that he plans to personally visit certain
polling stations. He also informed that the mission is working on
the first interim report, which will be publicized on January 30.
Garegin Azarian presented to Geert-Hinrich Ahrens the training program
for the members of electoral commissions. In particular, the CEC
Chairman stated, due to the assistance of the OSCE Yerevan Office, a
special training movie is created. Besides, the CEC Chairman stated,
an information video, created with the assistance of the Council
of Europe, is also ready. It provides information on the order of
voting for citizens, and will be broadcasted by several TV-Channels
of the country.
