Minorities pay tribute to late Imam by attending his mausoleum
Shahrerey, Tehran Prov, Jan 25, IRNA
The Associations of Assyrians, Zoroastrians, Jews and Armenians on
Friday paid tribute to the father of the Islamic Revolution and
Founder of the Islamic Republic the late Imam Khomeini by attending
his tomb.
The minorities, visiting the late Imam's tomb, renewed allegiance
with his lofty aspirations.
Representative of North Armenians Georg Wartan told IRNA the Islamic
Revolution of Iran paved the way for development of the youth
talents, enabling them to get more progress and success.
He said anybody owes his success to the Islamic Revolution's triumph
in 1979.
Head of Iran's Jews Association Siamak Mareh Sedq told IRNA for his
part that monotheism is the common point of all divine religions and
it has brought unity to all faiths.
Head of the Union of Iranian Assyrians Association Albert Kuchoie
also said the late Imam had special attitude towards minorities as
they too were interested in his personality.
Kuchoie said Assyrians are present in all scenes to guard the
Revolution's ideals.
He said Iranian nation have been successful to overcome enemies of
the Revolution by their cohesion and unity, bringing the country
prosperity and honor.
