ArmInfo. Attacks on the campaign headquarters of presidential
contenders are going on in Armenia.
Campaign headquarters of RA presidential contender Levon Ter-Petorsyan
in the towns of Vanadzor and Armavir, as well as in "Malatia-Sebastia"
Yerevan community were attacked yesterday, spokesman of Ter-Petrosyan's
campaign headquarters Arman Musinyan told journalists. He said that no
sufficient material damage was caused to the headquarters: the
attackers mainly destroyed the election posters of the first president.
To recall, one of the campaign headquarters of another presidential
contender, Artur Baghdasaryan, in Vanadzor was attacked on January 25.
A criminal case has been launched on this fact. Commenting on this
case, Artur Baghdasaryan called it a display of fear and lack of
confidence by the authorities. Commenting on this incident by request
of ArmInfo correspondent, RA President Robert Kocharyan said that he
has already ordered the Police to investigate the case as soon as
possible and reveal the guilty persons.
