    VIVACELL IS NOT PLANNING REBRANDING PROGRAM

    VivaCell is not planning any rebranding program, the executive director
    of the company Ralph Yirikian said during a meeting at the AUA.

    He said that the new billboards (white letters on red background
    instead of blue letters on white background) identified VivaCell and
    its owner, MTS.

    The company has changed only the colors while the form and the name
    of the brand will remain the same, Yirikian said.

    To remind, MTS bought 80% of Karabakh-Telecom OJSC (VivaCell brand)
    in Sept 2007.

    Concerning VivaCell's social programs, Yirikian said that the company
    sought to be useful for its people and urged other companies to do
    the same.

    As regards competition, Yirikian said that VivaCell acted exclusively
    on the mobile communication market and had nothing to do with the
    present situation in the field of internet services.

    The report of MTS says that in late Apr 2008 VivaCell had 1.440mln
    subscribers. Yirikian said that different sources provided different
    statistics but the real number of active subscribers totaled 1.350mln.

    VivaCell has 314 roaming partners worldwide.
