ARMENTEL TO PROVIDE INTERNET CHANNELS TO ARMENIAN PROVIDERS

The ArmenTel Company will provide Armenia's Internet providers with
communication channels.
Head of the Telecommunications Department, RA Public Services
Regulatory Commission Gevorg Gevorgyan reported that the Commission
provided exact wordings and approved the rates.
Internet providers and ArmenTel had disagreements over the unclear
wordings - ArmenTel could decide on providing a communication channel
at its own discretion.
Gevorgyan said that one-time fee for the connection to the "straight
communication line" is 60,000 AMD.
He pointed out that the Commission is elaborating communication
channel provision standards
