THE CONGRESSIONAL CAUCUS TO UPHOLD ITS' PRO-ARMENIAN COMMUNITY

In the framework of his visit to Washington RA Foreign Minister Edward
Nalbandian visited the US Congress, where he met with the Co-Chair of
the Armenian Caucus on Armenian Issues Joseph Knollenberg and members
of the Caucus.
The Foreign Minister expressed gratitude to the Congressman for
his long pro-Armenian activity, stressing the importance of the
Congressional Caucus on Armenian Issues in the reinforcement of
Armenian-American relations.
The Congressmen presented the activities of the Caucus and the future
programs, noting that they are friends of the Armenian nation and
will continue their activity for the benefit of Armenia and its people.
Turning to issues of ensuring regional security, Minister Nalbandian
called the interlocutor's attention to the bellicose propaganda of
Azerbaijan and noted that Azerbaijan obviously violates the provisions
of the Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe, which does not
receive the proper attention of the international community.
At the Congressman's request, Minister Nalbandian presented the
latest developments in the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh
conflict, Armenia's approaches on the prospects of normalization
of Armenian-Turkish relations, as well as the process of democratic
reforms in Armenia.
