E. NALBANDYAN HOPES PRESIDENTS' MEETING WILL HAVE POSITIVE RESULTS
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Edvard Nalbandyan hopes
that the meeting between the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan will
have positive results and a new stage for the NKR regulation will
start. Note that the meeting of the presidents is scheduled on 6
June. The Minister said that hopefully the meeting will take place on
6 June in Saint Petersburg and after that the presidents will order
the ministers to restart the negotiations.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov said that the
meeting is aimed to found new stage of the negotiations after with the
foreign ministers with the participation of the co-chairmen will
continue the negotiating activities.
Minister Lavrov reminded that last year the co-chairmen presented a
document of recommendations to the foreign ministers but that does not
correspond to the both sides' positions. -The document is kept by the
OSCE and it can serve as an improvement step,- he said.
