PETER SEMNEBY: "I AM READY TO VISIT NAGORNO KARABAKH, BUT IT REQUIRES PRINCIPLE AGREEMENT OF THE SIDES"

Baku. Tamara Grigoryeva-APA. "Principally, I am ready to visit Nagorno
Karabakh, but it requires principle agreement of the sides", Special
Representative of the European Union for the South Caucasus Peter
Semneby told today the press conference in Baku, APA reports.
He underlined that the visit to Nagorno Karabakh could be effective.
"I am thinking how to organize this visit. European Union can play a
positive role in the settlement of the conflict and have an influence
on improvement of the relations between the sides", he said.
Peter Semneby said the visit of the two countries' intellectuals to
Nagorno Karabakh was promising.
"I hope such initiatives will help to improve the relations between
the sides in future," he said.
