Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Wednesday that
Azerbaijan would help Turkey meet a part of its natural gas need by
    offering necessary means.

Premier Erdogan and President Aliyev discussed economic and political
issues, as well as joint projects and exchanged views regarding the
status of oil and natural gas pipelines and the Kars-Tbilisi-Baku
    railway project.

Erdogan and Aliyev held a joint press conference following their
    meeting.

"We have discussed bilateral relations on political, military,
cultural, commercial and educational areas," Erdogan said.

Erdogan said that Turkey wanted Upper Karabakh problem to be solved
within the scope of Azerbaijan's territorial integrity and in line
    with the international laws.

Evaluating economic cooperation Erdogan said that foreign trade volume
between Turkey and Azerbaijan was around 1.2 billion USD, and they
aimed to increase it to 3 billion USD within the next two years.

Regarding energy cooperation between Turkey and Azerbaijan, Erdogan
said that Azerbaijan would offer necessary facilities to meet a part
of Turkey's natural gas need within the scope of Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum
    natural gas pipeline project.

On his part President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said that Turkey and
his country had similar stances towards all issues, saying "Azerbaijan
and Turkey's opinions on all issues completely tally with each other".

"Turkey is a strategical ally for Azerbaijan," Aliyev said, adding
that his country was quite pleased with Turkey's efforts aiming at
the lifting of the embargo over Nakhichevan.
