DEMANDING TO DISCOVER REAL MURDERERS

"Do not run away. Anyway you shall have to answer!"
cried parents of the soldiers, who had died while performing their
duties in peaceful conditions. The threats were directed to the
Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces Yuri Khachaturov,
Deputy Head of the NSS Hrachya Harutyunian and other officials.
Parents of the dead soldiers demanded that Serzh Sarkissian should
discover the real murderers of their children and punish them. "If
you are in power you are responsible for injustice", they claimed.
By the way most of the soldiers were murdered in 2007 and according
to their parents the real criminals did not receive a punishment.
Tigran Ohanjanian was killed in one of the military units in
Gegharkunik Region on August 30, 2007.
"My son was killed 15 meters from Commander Haykaz Baghramian,
who is trusted the protection of part of the Armenian-Azerbaijani
border. How can you entrust the border to someone who is not even
able to guarantee the security of one soldier?" said Gohar Sarkissian,
mother of the murdered soldier Tigran Ohanjanian.
Official sources say Tigran Ohanjanian died of a high-tension electric
current. "They say the electric wire fell on my son but the autopsy
results provide a different view. Forensic doctor Adamian says our
photos taken in the morgue cannot serve as grounds for the Prosecutor's
Office. I am sure my son was killed.
No wire can leave such a scar", Mother complains.
Tigran Ohanjanian's parents also told "A1+" that they are being
threatened after their son's death.
"Shaved-headed guys threatened my husband to keep silent otherwise
they would kill all our family. But we have nothing to lose. I have
lost my son and I shall never allow the criminals to be in freedom",
Ohanjanian's mother said in tears.
Today there were also other parents of dead soldiers at the
Presidential Residence- parents of Hovhannes Meltonian, Petros
Hakobian, who died while performing their duties in the military
units of Armenia.
Later the parents were accepted to the Presidential Residence and
were promised to investigate the causes of their sons.
