NEW BATCH OF ARMENIAN PEACEKEEPERS LEAVES FOR KOSOVO

Yerevan, 10 June: On 12 June, Armenian Minister of Defence Seyran
Ohanyan will participate in the session of the North-Atlantic Council
in Brussels, which will be attended by representatives of the countries
involved in the KFOR operation in Kosovo.
As Mediamax was told in the Defence Ministry of Armenia today,
Seyran Ohanyan will leave for Brussels on 11 June. Within the
framework of the visit, the minister will meet his counterparts and
NATO representatives.
In May, Armenia made a decision on doubling its peacekeepers in
Kosovo. On 9 June, the new shift, consisting of 70 peacekeepers,
left for Kosovo.
