Governor Schwarzenegger Announces Appointments
Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger today announced the following
appointments:
Eddie Kouyoumdjian, 39, of Glendora, has been appointed general manager
of the Exposition Park. He has served as deputy director of
communications for the Office of Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger since
2007 and previously held the position of deputy director of advance from
2004 to 2006. Prior to that, Kouyoumdjian served as an advance
representative for Californians for a Balanced Budget, Yes on 57 and 58
Committee in 2004. From 2002 to 2003, he worked as director of
operations for the California Grassroots Leadership Committee and, in
2002, he served as deputy director of operations for Bill Simon for
Governor. From 1999 to 2002, Kouyoumdjian worked as an account
executive for Tek Systems and, in 1996, he worked as an advance
representative for the Dole Presidential Campaign. From 1994 to 1997,
he worked as a student athletic trainer at the University of Southern
California. This position does not require Senate confirmation and the
compensation is $94,188. Kouyoumdjian is a Republican.
