Forward of the Armenian national football team Edgar Manucharian
is still a player of the Dutch club "Ajax Amsterdam". As the young
footballer told "A1+" he has not been granted a status of a free
player as some internet sites inform. "The news spread fast but it
is untrue. My status is still uncertain", Manucharian says.
After "EURO-2008" Marco van Basten, who is currently in charge of the
Dutch national team, is to train "Ajax Amsterdam". "After EURO-2008 it
will be clear where I'll continue my career. I must talk to van Basten
first", says Edgar. Presently Manucharian is on holiday in Yerevan.
The 21-year-old footballer was transferred to "Ajax" in 2005. He
has played only in 9 official matches since, and has scored only
one goal. Manucharian's failure is mainly determined by his numerous
injuries and the long-lasting treatments that he has to get.
