COMMISSION DISCUSSED HOUSING ISSUES

The issue of construction of 27 houses for the families of killed
soldiers was not discussed in the meeting of the State Commission
for Housing Coordination.
According to the minister of social security Narine Azatyan, the
commission checked the lists submitted by the heads of regional
administrations, and there are also videos and photos. However, the
meeting of the Commission decided to conduct an additional survey
before making a decision.
The members of the commission approved the decision to build a house
for the family of Mikhail Arushanyan in Stepanakert. We wrote about
his eight children growing up in a half-ruined house in the village
of Khachen.
The commission also decided to provide 8 of 18 apartments in an
apartment building which is being renovated in Martakert.
Four houses will be built as part of the program of stimulating the
rate of birth. The family of Samvel Mnatsakanyan who used to live in
the house at 18 Azatamartikneri Street which was demolished will get
an apartment in the house which is being built at 9 Azatamartikneri
Street in Stepanakert.
Two houses will be built in the village of Nor Maragha, Martakert,
for new settlers.
