One person died and one was injured, during the scuffle between the
Armenians and the Russians in province Verkhneuralsk in Chelyabinsk.
According to the report of the Prosecutor's, "A scuffle took
place between the Armenians and the Russians on June 12, 2008, in
Verkhneuralsk in Chelyabinsk, due to which a men born in 1976 was
taken to the hospital, with brain injuries, who died there. The same
day an Armenian has also been taken to the hospital in Magnitogorsk,
who has been immediately shown a medical treatment."
During the investigation it turned out that on June 12 three
Russian men came to Armenian café and demanded to serve them free
of charge. The owner of the café started to quarrel with these men,
which later turned into a scuffle. The owner of the café called his
friends, who came and beat the visitors of the café. On June 13,
in the morning the participants of the scuffle arranged to meet again
and clarify the issue," the report runs.
On June 13 the natives and a group of Armenians came to the scene
of action.
"One of the Armenians was taken to the hospital with brain injuries,"
the press service reports.
