PRESIDENT SERZH SARKISIAN MEETS WITH REPRESENTATIVES OF AYB CLUB AND EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION

President Serzh Sarkisian met today with representatives of Ayb club
and educational foundation.
The presidential press service told Armenpress that representatives of
Ayb told the president about their activity, which is aimed mainly at
educational reforms, creation of an exemplary educational environment
and helping gifted children.
Speaking about their future plans, they presented Ayb Educational
Juncture, which, if realized, will become the first school campus
in Armenia with all facilities-school, church, gyms, workshops,
dormitory and so on.
Saying that the government had allocated a land plot for implementation
of this project, the representatives said they would welcome also
private sector's assistance.
The president guaranteed the government's involvement and support
for the project saying although the idea seems kind of utopian now,
he nevertheless believes strongly that it will succeed.
Serzh Sarkisian said also he welcomes all initiatives aimed at raising
the level of public education and society's consolidation.
By agreeing that Armenia has limited natural resources the participants
of the meeting said that Armenia's mayor resource is its intellect
which should be developed to maximum. As a results instead of physical
values Armenia will give the world ideas.
