IRANIAN LIFTER WINS BRONZE

CALI, Colombia -- Iran's 85 kg category Saeid Shahedi snatched a bronze
medal in the Junior World Weightlifting Championships on Thursday.
He lifted 151 kg in snatch and 186 kg in clean and jerk. He came in
third place with a total of 337 kg.
Russian Alexander Ivanov crowned the championship with a total of
365 kg as Armenian Aram Andrekian seized the silver with 341 kg.
Iran's Sohrab Moradi had already won the bronze in the 77 kg category.
The tournament has started on June 12 and will be finished by June 21.
