Russia and Armenia consider that the conflicts in the South
Caucasus should be settled only by peaceful means and on the basis of
international law", said Russian President Dmitri Medvedev by results
of talks with Armenian counterpart Serzh Sarkissyan.
"We consider that crisis centers in the South Caucasus should be
terminated only peacefully, within the established formats and on
the basis of international law.
"Our country is ready to assist in search of such resolutions, which
would meet the interests of all peoples, residing there", said the
Russian President.
Medvedev noted that this also relates to the situation around Nagorno
Karabakh. "We have especially stressed mediatory role of the OSCE Minsk
Group in the negotiation process and also spoke of new opportunities
