COUNCIL ON TRAFFICKING AFFAIRS CONDUCTED SESSION

Today the first session of the Council on Trafficking Affairs took
place headed by the Vice Prime Minister, The Minister of Territorial
Administration Armen Gevorgyan, reported the Ministry of Territorial
Administration. The main directions and the achievements of different
departments organized against the trafficking were discussed during
the session. They have also discussed the report of the US Department
of State about the trafficking covering Armenia.
The Council has recommended the Ministry of Justice to analyze the
existing legislative field on trafficking and its prohibition, in order
to fill the gaps and create more effective job. According to the source
this will be the topic discussed in the next session in September.
