ARMENIAN, SWISS FOREIGN MINISTERS HOLD TALKS IN YEREVAN

The Armenian-Swiss talks focused on bilateral relations and further
development of cooperation, Armenia's Foreign Minister Edward
Nalbandian said at a joint news conference with Micheline Calmy-Rey,
head of the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs.
"Positions of Armenia and Switzerland coincide on many international
issues. We have outlined the ways to encourage bilateral relations,
to simplify the visa system and also referred to the Nagorno Karabakh
conflict settlement," Minister Nalbandian said.
For her part, Ms. Calmy-Rey remarked that the talks were
constructive. "There is a numerous Armenian diaspora in Switzerland. We
had a lot to speak about," she said.
