ARMENIA TO SEND MEDICAL OFFICERS AND FIELD ENGINEERS TO AFGHANISTAN

Armenia will send medical officers and field engineers to Afghanistan,
said Samvel Lazarian, head of the Armenian delegation to NATO.
"Armenia doesn't intend to send peacekeeping forces to Afghanistan, but
presence of medical officers and field engineers is very important,"
he said adding that the Armenian mission will serve within a foreign
battalion. "Negotiations are underway," he added, Novosti Armenia
reports.
