territories. Azerbaijani Minister of Defense Safar Abiyev told in the
tremendous final event of the graduates of Higher Military Schools of
Azerbaijan held in Heydar Aliyev Military Lyceum. He underlined
Azerbaijani Army got firmly established during the last years and the
defense of the republic is in reliable hands.
"Azerbaijani Army is ready for every order to fulfill the assigned
tasks. The education system of Azerbaijani Armed Forces being improved
in accordance with modern standards is preparing officers today. The
cadets of military educational institutions take part in the Olympics
and competitions among higher schools of our republic as well as in the
international trainings held jointly with NATO member and partner
countries. Azerbaijani people can take pride in the successes they
obtained in these events. Cooperation with different countries is
especially significant from view of compliance of Azerbaijani Armed
Forces with modern standards, increase of training and alertness of
personal staff, improvement of material and technical provision and
certainly fighting efficiency of the Army", Safar Abiyev added.
