The events which occurred on the front on March 4 and the duly reaction
of Azerbaijan's armed forces have shown that the enemy will not be
able to defeat our army.
The due announcement was made by spokesman for Azerbaijan's Defense
Ministry Eldar Sabiroglu.
He noted that the combativity of the Armed forces of Azerbaijan is
on a high level.
"Armenian armed forces had numerous casualties and there are wounded
which caused a wave of protest in this country. Armenia is again
busy with misleading and there is nothing strange in it. To distract
attention of the world community from falsifications during elections,
the enemy has initiated the said provocation, which failed, however.
One of the aims of large-scale ceasefire violation is an attempt
to shift the blame for the events on Azerbaijan. However, the world
community is informed about the actions of the Armenian side.
Everyone knows that Armenia is an occupant country", he said.
Sabiroglu noted that Armenia disseminated biased information to hide
the real number of casualties. He said this is not the first time it
does it.
He noted that the enemy should count the casualties which it may have
in such cases, as the principle of armed conflicts implies greater
casualties from the attacking side.
The military command of Armenia, which was embarrassed of the
situation, asked Azerbaijan's Defense Ministry and international
organizations to stop fire.
