Armenian President Robert Kocharian has congratulated Dmitry Medvedev
on his victory at the Russian presidential election, the Armenian
president's press service told Interfax.
"I cordially congratulate you on your election as Russian president.
Armenia highly values the alliance between our countries and the
strategic cooperation in all areas. I am certain that our countries
and people will continue to strengthen their friendly relations and
partnership and will expand their mutually beneficial cooperation. I
would like to note your personal contribution to the development of
Armenian-Russian relations and to express my confidence that while
serving at the high post of Russian president you will help deepen
and expand them. I am wishing you good health, welfare and good luck
in your job for the benefit of fraternal Russia," the letter said.
