Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian President Robert Kocharian described
today as "obvious speculations" the statements of Levon Ter-Petrosian,
according to which in conditions of a state of emergency the decision
of the Constitutional Court concerning the results of presidential
elections cannot be considered legitimate.
Mediamax reports that, speaking at a news conference in Yerevan today,
the Armenian President stressed that "my decree on introducing state
of emergency does not provide for any limitations of the activity of
judicial bodies, and the courts of all instances work according to
the regular schedule".
