RA POLICE MESSAGE
>From March 1-6, in the results of mass disorder
organized by opposition on 1 March, 407 people were
taken to police station, 184 of them were from
Yerevan, 223 from regions. 23 were taken into custody
and 50 imprisoned. According to the RA Police station
3 cases were sent to RA Administrative court and 7
sent to narcotic dispenser.
>From March 1-2 217 people were cured in medical
centers and police hospital. 33 police officers were
injured and sent to police policlinic centers. People
cured varied in their age and status: 41 ordinary
citizens, 43 police officers, and 133 service men from
18-20.
On 1 March in the results of organized disorder 63
vehicles were burned. 40 police cars were broken and
robbed. 19 police cars were totally burned. 27 buses
and 6 trolleybuses were also broken and burned.
In the results of police operative examination 62
different weapons were found and 3700 bullets, 2
mines, and 15 grenades.
On 6 March the situation in the capital was calm,
without any extraordinary incidents. The officials
carry out every activity to discover the organizers
and recover the social order in the country.
