UN RESOLUTION "SERIOUS WARNING" TO KARABAKH MEDIATORS - AZERI
DIPLOMAT
[Presenters] The responsibility placed on the co-chairs [of the OSCE
Minsk Group] has been confirmed after theadoption by the UN General
Assembly of a resolution on the situation in Azerbaijan's occupied
territories. From nowon, [our] work with the co-chairs should change
fundamentally, Deputy Foreign Minister Araz Azimov has said.
[Azimov, shown speaking to reporters] This resolution should be a
serious message to Armenia. This should be aserious warning to the
co-chairs that we will not continue moving in the direction of
darkness. We want clarity, whichcan be achieved only on the basis of
the principle of territorial integrity. The responsibility which we
have placed on the co-chairs has been confirmed by the international
community. And no-one has the right to avoid this responsibility. And
perhaps, now that Azerbaijan has put forward this resolution, the
situation of the co-chairs will change. We willcertainly continue our
work with the co-chairs. However, [our] work with the co-chairs
should change fundamentally.
