NAGORNO-KARABAKH TO EXPAND NETWORK OF ITS REPRESENTATIONS ABROAD

YEREVAN, 17.03.08. DE FACTO. The Nagorno-Karabakh Republic intends
to realize serious programs, in part, on expanding the network of its
representations in foreign countries, the NKR President Bako Sahakian
stated March 15, in the course of the visit to the NKR MFA and meeting
with the ministry's staff.
The state's head mentioned the MFA's important role in the
Nagorno-Karabakh Republic's life, the Central Department of Information
under the NKR President reports. He noted the Ministry was to carry
out serious work abroad targeted at the Karabakh conflict's settlement,
strengthening and deepening bilateral relations, consecutive enhancing
the country's international prestige.
The Nagorno-Karabakh President mentioned the necessity of structural
amendments to be carried out at the Ministry. According to Bako
Sahakian, peculiar attention should be paid to personnel policy
underscoring that one should be guided only with the criteria of
professionalism.
A wide spectrum of issues referring to the Nagorno-Karabakh's foreign
and internal life was discussed in the course of the meeting.
