CHARITY CONCERT WITH PARTICIPATION OF ARMENIAN MUSICIANS ORGANIZED IN STRASBOURG

STRASBOURG, MARCH 17, NOYAN TAPAN. A charity concert of the AMALGAMMES
French-German orchestra with the participation of Armenian pianist
Vahan Martirosian and singer Gayane Movsisian took place on March
15 in the Temple Neuf church of Strasbourg with the sponsorship of
Ambassador Christian Ter Stepanian, the Permanent Representative of
Armenia to the Council of Europe.
As Noyan Tapan was informed by the RA Foreign Ministry Press and
Information Department, the whole gain from the concert will be
transferred to the specialized orphanage of Nor Kharberd, Armenia.
High-ranking officials of the Council of Europe, Ambassadors accredited
in the Council of Europe, representatives of the Armenian community
were present at the concert.
The AMALGAMMES joint French-German orchestra, which includes the
soloists of Strasbourg Philharmonic Orchestra and the Symphonic
Orchestras of Baden-Baden and Freiburg, had organized a number of
charity concerts in the past, too, transferring the gains to different
institutions of Armenia.
